The waning months of the Bush error revealed a world in financial turmoil, and visions of a clean green future were cast aside with every other positive sentiment. $40 oil is actually better for the solar industry than $140 oil, because the entire economy breaks down at the higher level. The biggest thing was the solar energy tax credit in the USA was attached to the bailout bill and extended for 8 years, so Bush may actually get props some day for something he fought so hard against. Funny, in a curious, semi-amusing way.
